Chris and Janice Patterson along with sons Lane, Chad & Cody welcome you to CLP Fox Trotters!  We are located in Adrian, Missouri about an hour south of Kansas City.  We have been involved with Fox Trotters in Missouri for 3 generations.

We own, train and enjoy one of the world's most popular gaited horses - the Fox Trotter.  We hope that you can share this excitement with us and discover the champion Fox Trotter for your needs.

Chris is a MFTHBA Qualified Judge
He has judged the MFTHBA Three-Year-Old Futurity, the MFTHBA Show and Celebration, the Mid-America 2-Year-Old Futurity and various local shows.

Lane is back in Kansas City, MO.
We are excited to have Lane back in Kansas City managing our barn after several years training in south Missouri and Arkansas.  Lane's success in the show ring has proven his abilities as a trainer.  He is available to train a limited number of outside show quality horses.

You can see pictures of three horses he trained for us, Cinnamon Sticks Spice, Country Image and Yo Murphy, on the Awards Page.  Lane also trained three of the ten horses who placed in the 2003 Three Year Old Futurity Open Amateur Championship.  Lane qualified horses in all four Open Grand Championship classes at the 2005 Celebration and placed in three of them.
